Diplomate, American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Edmond Bedrossian manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.
Dr. Bedrossian practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from:

- Wisdom tooth removal
- Repair of cleft lips and palates

. Bedrossian has been trained by Professor Branemark in the placement of maxillofacial implants for reconstruction of facial defects after cancer surgery of the face.
- Dr. Edmond Bedrossian is a Diplomate, American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
- He is Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Director of Implant Surgical training at Highland Hospital Oral & Maxillofacial Residency Training Program as well as the Director of Prosthetic Implant training at the University of the Pacific’s AEGD Residency Program.
- He has authored numerous articles and textbook chapters on the management of the Zygomatic implant. Author of the book “Implant treatment planning for the edentulous patient”, foreword by P-I Brånemark.
- He has lectured internationally with Professor Brånemark on various topics, especially the rehabilitation of patients with maxillofacial defects.
- He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Brånemark Institute and the current President of the Brånemark Foundation North America.

Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at San Francisco Center for Osseointegration are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN) to assist in surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified. Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Dr. Bedrossian’s staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
