The privilege of learning and being aware of the needs of patients with maxillofacial defects includes the understanding of their primary disease, appreciation of their secondary facial defect, becoming proficient in the techniques for the reconstruction of the various defects and most importantly, accepting that you are emotionally involved in the lives of each of these patients.

It has been an absolute honor to be able to work and understand the physical as well as the spiritual needs of these patients.
