Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Edmond Bedrossian manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Bedrossian practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery, wisdom tooth removal, repair of cleft lips and palates, as well as routine e biopsies.  He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and performs a full range of dental implant procedures. Dr. Bedrossian has been trained by Professor  Branemark in placement of maxillofacial implants for reconstruction of facial defects after cancer surgery of the face.  Since 1986, Dr. Bedrossian has been an assistant professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of the Pacific.  He is also the director of implant surgery at the University of the Pacific Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Training Program.  Dr. Bedrossian also directs the Implant Prosthetics at the University’s AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) Residency program.

Dr. Bedrossian's staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.  

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Dr. Edmond Bedrossian’s office is experienced, registered assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. All staff is informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and is CPR certified.
